Known limitations

What Flavonto Forms does not do in this version, and what has and has not been tested.

This page lists what the plugin does not do, and where testing stopped short of real services or products. It is kept up to date with each release.

Not included in this version

Area Limitation What to do instead
Payments One time payments only: no subscriptions or recurring payments, and no card fields on your own page (visitors pay on Stripe's or PayPal's page). Use Stripe or PayPal's own subscription tools, linked from a confirmation.
PDF No PDF files are generated from entries. Each entry has a print layout your browser can save as a PDF; entries export to Excel, OpenDocument, CSV, HTML and JSON.
Translations The plugin is translation ready (a translation template is included) but ships in English only. Translate with Loco Translate or a translation service; form texts are your own.
Uploads File types are always limited to those a form names; there is no "allow every type" option. The largest file is limited by your server. Name the types you expect. Diagnostics shows the largest upload your server accepts.
Spreadsheets The older XLS format holds at most 65,535 entries. Choose XLSX, which has no such limit.
Quform Quform 2 forms, entries and files can be imported; Quform 1.x data cannot. Custom code added to Quform forms is not carried over. The import's dry run lists everything that will not carry over before anything is created.
Scale Tested with 10,000 entries in one form. Larger numbers have not been measured. Use retention to keep the entries list to what you need.
AI No AI features, and nothing is sent to AI services.

What was tested, and what was not

The plugin is tested with automated suites on every release. Where a test could not use the real product or service, it says so here.

Area Tested Not tested
WordPress 7.1 for everything; 6.5 for the core suites Versions in between are expected to work but are not run on each release
PHP 7.4 and 8.3 for every suite; 8.2 on a live host; every file checked for syntax with 7.4, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4 and 8.5 Full suites on 8.0, 8.1, 8.4 and 8.5 on each release
Database MariaDB 11.8 on a live host; SQLite in the local test environment MySQL 8 on a real server
Themes Twenty Twenty-Five (block theme) on a live host and locally; a minimal classic test theme locally Popular commercial themes
Browsers Chromium (Chrome, Edge), WebKit (Safari's engine) and a phone profile Firefox; real phones and tablets (emulation only)
Page builders Block editor; Elementor 4.3 on a live host (the widget is listed, shows the form and the form sends) WPBakery itself: the element uses WPBakery's documented interface and is tested with a stand in, not in WPBakery
Caching LiteSpeed Cache on a live host, with two visitors sending the same cached page Other cache plugins and CDN page caching
Email Emails are created and handed to WordPress's mail function Delivery through a real mail server: both test environments capture email instead of sending it
Payments Stripe Checkout and PayPal flows, signatures and webhooks with signed test data and simulated provider replies Stripe and PayPal sandboxes end to end
Integrations Every integration against recorded or simulated replies from the service Live accounts at Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Campaign Monitor, GetResponse, MailerLite, Mailrelay, Zoho CRM and Telegram
Address suggestions and maps The browser side with a stand in for Google's script Google Maps Platform with a real key
Multisite Network activation and per site data in the local test environment A real multisite network on a host
Accessibility Automated scans (axe) on every form design and screen, keyboard only use, 320 pixel width and contrast checks A review by people using screen readers and other assistive technology; no conformance certificate
