Questions and answers
Short answers to the questions people ask most.
Does it work with my theme?
Forms use their own styles with low specificity and a design called Match my theme that keeps your theme's fonts and colours. They are tested with the default WordPress block theme and work with classic themes.
Does it work with page caching?
Yes. Forms fetch a fresh security token when a cached page is old, so cached pages keep accepting entries.
Can visitors upload files?
Yes, with type, size and number limits, content checks and private storage. See File uploads.
Can I take payments?
Yes, one time payments through Stripe Checkout and PayPal. Subscriptions are not included in this version. See Payments.
Does it make PDFs of entries?
No PDF files are generated. Each entry has a print layout (your browser can save it as PDF), and entries export to Excel, OpenDocument, CSV, HTML and JSON.
Where is my data stored?
In your WordPress database and your site's private upload folder. Nothing is stored with Flavonto. See Privacy and data.
Can I use one form in several places?
Yes. Every copy sends to the same form, and entries record the page each one came from.
Can I move forms between sites?
Yes. Export forms from Import and export and import them on the other site. Entries can be exported to spreadsheets; there is no entry transfer between two Flavonto Forms sites in this version.
Can I import from Quform?
Yes, forms from Quform exports, and forms with entries and files from Quform on the same site. See Import, export and moving from Quform.
What happens if I deactivate or delete the plugin?
Deactivating keeps everything. Deleting removes data only if you turned on Delete all Flavonto Forms data when the plugin is deleted in Settings, Data. Posts and user accounts that forms created stay either way.
Does it work on multisite?
Yes. Each site of the network has its own forms, entries and settings.
Which PHP and WordPress versions are supported?
WordPress 6.5 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer. Our tests run on PHP 7.4, 8.3 and 8.5 with current WordPress.
